    Hello my DA friends :heart:

    I just wanted to write to you all, to say if you noticed that I have changed, you're right I have changed!
    A lot has happened, I don't feel it's quite right to post the reason why just here in a DA journal entry for all to read.
    I think it's enough to say that it's not good news, and it effects every part of my life and who I am for the rest of my life, so it's easy to say that I'm not the same person I was 6 months ago!
    I don't know where life will lead and where I will be at in the future.
    But for now it's not a good place!
    So I wanted to let you know if you noticed different behavior from me, it's me not you, or that I now dislike you and/or your art.
    I don't plan to leave DA but I don't feel like I can keep up all the commenting and replying as before, I just don't have the heart for it!

    On the 13th of Dec my Mom had an unexpected medical emergency and had to have surgery and has been in the ICU ever since.
    And the 25th was a particularly bad day.
    We had to make a decision about a procedure on behalf of my mom that day as she was still unconscious.
    It's been very hard and scary!!
    She is still in the ICU and it's still hard but things are looking up. She has started to slowly get better.

    :hug:...Iknow how you feel...my father went through some rough months of surgeries a few years ago...hospitals and ICU's particularily are scarey...I find it really interesting though how the ICU rooms at the hospital I was at had tv's computers and a whole whack of things the patients in there obviously couldn't use...but I am glad to hear that things are improving with your mother and that she is slowly getting better :hug:

    Thanks for the support :hug: it helps to know that other people have gone through similar things.
    She now out of the ICU & at home, she's still quite ill.
    We hope the worse is behind us now and She recovers fully :fingerscrossed:
