That is one of the reasons I am leaving to travel extensively in South America. This kind of atrocity happened in nearly every South American country during the 70s, 80s and early 90s. I intend to do a written and photographic research but have been told it could be dangerous. I have already been warned about doing this in Chile.
But I think at 60 the time has come in my life to try and give something back so that the younger generation understand this from a personal point of view rather than political propaganda.

I have a friend who now lives in Germany who left Argentina in the 70s and whose best friend was one of the missing children. She was 14 at the time !
I intend to go back and talk to the remaining few mothers about their experiences. I have rarely been moved as much by anything in my whole life.
