So the idea behind this painting was
#1 to paint a face the way I draw faces ( I draw faces in a slightly different style )
#2 paint the face in a mix of untradtional colours
#3 I wanted to see if one could paint someone with Red eyes and it not look totally weird ( I was reading books at the time with characters with red eyes )


Well I started this painting I'd say about 2 years ago!
I worked on it for a bit, but for most of the 2 years it just sat. Then about 2 month ago I picked it up again and started work on it again!
My painting skills are a lot better then they were when I started this painting, and the original drawing style is no longer the way I draw faces, but I decided to stick with the original face structure anyhow.

I finally have the space and opportunity to paint on a semi-regular basis, so I expect to be uploading more pieces in the coming weeks.
In the past, much of my work was focused on the human figure( the head in particular )
but with this new found freedom
I am hoping to explore a more diverse field of subjects.
